Greg Foote
Greg has served in many roles in his 17 years with TEAM. He is currently TEAM’s lead Biologist, Senior Environmental Scientist, Hydrographer and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expert. He is also the lead on several complex, on-going projects, and manages mitigation and monitoring plans to ensure protection of sensitive and protected botanical, wildlife, and water resources.
Greg’s experience includes conducting and coordinating biological resource assessments to comply with CEQA requirements; and following agency and species monitoring protocols to ensure sensitive biological resources are managed and protected in compliance with environmental regulations. Greg has assisted a variety of clients with their groundwater, soil, and gas monitoring programs as well as installation, operations, and maintenance of groundwater remediation systems. He has participated in subsurface investigations and aquifer tests under a Professional Geologist and contributed to the design and installation of surface water monitoring devices.
In addition to his field expertise, Greg has worked on numerous GIS projects and managed several Microsoft Access multi-relational databases. Prior to joining TEAM, Greg worked with the California Department of Fish & Game on projects related to Wildlife and Fisheries Biology.
Greg graduated from Bishop Union High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno with a major in Biology (Ecology). After college he returned home to the Owens Valley, married, and is raising children here. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing with his family in the Eastern Sierra region.
